Trainings
To ensure a proper and safe operation of the Schumperter Laboratory including all inventory, machines and tools, it is mandatory to attend certain training sessions in advance.
Basic Training
The Schumpeter Laboratory is divided into several areas. To get access to these areas you have to attend the “Basic Training”.

Duration: 30min
With the completed Basic Training and signing our Terms of Use you are allowed to enter the defined areas on your own and use our equipment during the Opendays under supervision of one of our staff.
Please register for one of the scheduled trainings in the calender below and be here (Schumpeter Laboratory, Inffeldgasse 11/3) at least 10 minutes before the start of the training. Group registrations are not possible, every participant has to register personally.
Machine Training
To get a better overview of our equipment and the possibilities it offers, we recommend that you attend our “Machine Training”.
Content:
You will receive information about the technologies, machines, data preparation, useable materials and tips & tricks for:
- 3D printing
- Laser cutting and engraving
- Waterjet cutting
- Vinyl cutting
- CNC milling
- Sand blasting
- PCB production
- 3D Scanning
Duration: 120min
With the Machine Training you are perfectly prepared to start making your projects on one of our Opendays, every Thursday 2-6pm.
Please register for one of the scheduled trainings and be here (Schumpeter Laboratory, Inffeldgasse 11/3) at least 10 minutes before the start of the training. Group registrations are not possible, every participant has to register personally.
NOTE: Considering our effort and your free participation, trainings will only take place with a minimum of 5 participants. You will receive a mail if the training you registered for is canceled. Thank you for your understanding.
